In the coming months, we plan on providing real-time lightning strike data.  In order to do this, we will incur monthly charges from the data providers.  Maintaining a weather station has already proven to be a very expensive endeavor.  We have invested a great deal of money in software, weather equipment and a dedicated weather computer...not to mention our time. The lightning data will most likely involve investing even more money in software upgrades, plus the aforementioned monthly subscription fee.  We have attempted to offset some of these costs through advertising, but quite frankly, it hasn't come anywhere close to covering the costs.  You can help by donating $5, or whatever you can afford.  If you have a business or organization, please consider advertising with us by purchasing a sponsor's banner.
